285/70/18 KO3 installed no issues on full lockout, however haven’t had off-road yet. I did have to remove the front mudflaps, which I didn’t really like anyway. I did leave the rear ones.

Now looking for a nice full roof rack with forward facing low profile light bar integration and maybe some options for rear lights for camping.

Overall very happy thus far. I’ll monitor the mpg and report back if there is interest.

Are those +20 or +45 offset wheels?

Anyone with 285/70/18 ko3’s - how was balancing and do you feel / notice any issues with ride quality?

Any other 285/70:/18 you recommend? Easy to balance and align?

how about drivability and overall power post-switch? What load rating used?

Nitto recon grappler 295/70/18 SL
I'm running the Nitto recon grappler 275/70/18 SL. They are awesome.

I wished they made a 285/70/18 SL.

I didn't even know they made a 295, in SL thanks for the info, however I can't find any place that actually sells them :( @@@

Upgraded to 285/70/18 ko3s. So far so good. Also a 2” lift-level kit to round things out.

Looks sick man! Did you go with the Torq lift? I am thinking about getting it when the current OEM tires need changing. Any trimming or crash plate deletion needed? Thanks in advance.

I did the torq lift for it - yep.
I also got ARK crash plate delete covers and just put those on at the same time as a preventative measure. Not sure if needed but figured for the price just do it.

Cool, thank you Chris. I’m looking forward to doing the same here soon. Are you happy with the way it drives?

Yes, drives well you just need to make sure you run the proper PSI in the tires to get it smooth (~35-37 psi).

As for your other question that I forgot to answer, no trimming needed.

Contemplating the Cobb accessport to get a little more out of it on the daily.

Thank you again! I’m not sure what tire setup I am going to go with just yet. I’m partial to the Toyo’s, as I’m in the snow 5-6 months a year and need something with good 3 Peak snow performance.

well we just got 15” of snow and ice today and I’ll be driving early in it tomorrow to go boarding. Will let you know- but the Ko3’s have been rated very well for snow. Their only downside is weight but honestly seems fine driving - not a lot of loss on performance for the added weight.

The Accessport is worth it on a daily. The biggest gains aren’t peak power — it’s smoother throttle, better torque delivery, and overall drivability.

Every truck behaves a little differently, which is why custom tuning makes a noticeable difference even on mostly stock setups.

Worth noting COBB has a sale through the 29th. I've also discounted all the bundles with tuning on my site to match their sale.

Does this include the transmission tune and ECU? I realize they only have a “stage 1” currently - as other stages perhaps become available (with mods required) - would this grant access to those OTS tunes when they become available?

I have a dealer by me offering it for $693 as well - was going to grab it from them. DM me if anything can be done.
