Stopped by Discount Tire today to look at the KO3 versus the AT4W. They had 5 of the KO3's, they were dead slow and could fit me in so I pulled the trigger.

So far I am quite impressed. People aren't kidding these tires are quiet. I don't even notice any more noise than the stock Toyo. Drove home with the windows down and all I heard was air noise.

You can feel there is more weight for sure since these are E load, but it still drives and rides great. I'll update with some MPG calculations over the next couple of fill ups. Averaging about 20 combined right now.

No rub at full lock forward and reverse. Full spare snugged up no issue.

@mcd_ovrlnd Will do. I've been obsessing about it for far too long. I honestly could have flipped a coin between the two. The 275 in the KO3 is a true 33" tire.

I could have stayed 265 with the AT4Ws and it's also a 33", but I kind of dig the extra 10mm of poke. It's also hard to beat the aggressive look of the KO3.

As long as they hold up in the rain I'll be happy with the choice. With all the rain we've been getting down this way, the Toyo At3 are actually pretty great in the rain.

That’s the one downside I heard about KO3 is less wet traction. But then I hear people say not all that bad. I am looking at all the obvious AT choices (eg BFG, Toyo, Falken, Nitto). . Probably going from 265/70 r18 to a 285/70 r17 with a +20 offset.

Looks great and glad your happy with them,I agree on the stealthness of the KO2 line up,I had them on our Chevy 1500 and got 56K out of them (rotation is key) they only started to make noise as to when the tread was getting thin.

I wanted to put this on the wife 4R but she wanted the aggressive Yoko's Geolanders G003 that are quiet but not nearly as the KO's.

Miles and smiles man!

I wonder if they’re quiet for the life of the tire? I’ve got 4000 miles on at4s and they’re just starting to howl
