Because I am insane and don't mind spending hours at Discount Tire. I swapped from the KO3s to the Falken AT4Ws. They had to swap out a bad BFG and they still had some slight wobble. Both E load. So figured I'd try something new while able.
The AT4Ws are definitely louder than stock and the KO3's, but even though they are only 3 pounds lighter than the KO3's, the feel like they roll better.
I am still getting a little jitter on the road at random times but I'm thinking that might be just life with an E load tire and this vehicle and suspension.
I went back to the 265 in the AT4Ws when I went up to the 275 in the KO3 because the 265 AT4W is a 33.4" diameter tire. The 275 BFG was 33.1". If I did 265 in the BFG it was like 32.6". Interestingly, the 275 in the AT4W is slightly shorter at like 33.2". I also saved 3 pounds.
Ramble over.
