Hi :)

I got my truck delivered a few months ago, and at first I was only planning to put a little bigger rubber on it and call it a day. But as usual, and partly because all you here are a terrible/awesome influence, things quickly escalated to a full build. Keep in mind that this is my first ever Toyota of any kind so the learning curve was very steep, and so in addition to all the info on tis forum I reached out to Wescott Designs to guide me. My wife an I were going to spend the Month of May in Sedona AZ anyway so I shipped my truck to them in Phoenix ahead of time and picked it up last week when I landed, so the timing and logistics fell perfectly in place.

The vision for the truck was to strike a balance between high off road capability but also to be able to be used as a daily driver, so I didn't want to go overboard with suspension mods. Driving it both and off road for the last week I think we hit the sweet spot of the compromise, so I'm super happy with it. I also wanted to do something a little different given that the truck is black so I had them paint all the accessories (except rock sliders) gloss black, which helps my ocd. I especially like the Rago bumper because it looks as if it could be OEM to me. Thanks to @papadop88 for that inspiration and also for helping me figure a couple of other things out.

Here's the list of mods (wrap and tires were done before I sent it to WD):

- Full Xpel wrap/Full Xpel ceramic coating/front tint to match rear/windshield PPF
- 285/70/18 Falken Wildpeak A/T4W
- 1” Spidertrax black wheel spacers
- Wescott Designs Lo-Pro Roof Rack (gloss black)
- Baja Designs XL Pro Linkable LED Light Bar (for roof rack)
- Wescott Designs Ditch Light Brackets
- Baja Designs Squadron Pro Black LEDDriving/Combo Light Pods
- Rago Fabrication Center Mount Winch Front Bumper (gloss black)
- Rago Fabrication SkidPlate for Center Mount Front Bumper
- Baja Designs 20" Sport Light Bar (in Rago bumper)
- Warn VR Evo 10-S Winch
- Epic Hawse Fairlead
- Factor 55 UltraHook
- Wescott Design Molle Panels (gloss black)
- Wescott Designs Kickout Sliders
- Wescott Designs Preload Lift Kit

I think I'm done messing with it for now, the only other thing I might do in the near future is get some aftermarket 0 offset 18s to get rid of the spacers.

Hope you guys like it. :)

I just drove through two days of incessant downpours in northern Georgia, the Smoky Mountains, and SC on my way back home from AZ and they did shockingly well, even through the mountain twistsies with water pooling everywhere. I wasn't going balls out but I never felt instability in the truck due to slippage. They're also not any louder than the smaller stock Toyos, and despite their larger size and different load rating, they also haven't changed the ride quality in any way that I can notice. I couldn't be more pleased with this tire choice.
Which load rating did you go with?

Nice. I think the C load is the sweet spot for our vehicle. Falken sadly only does E or SL in 265 or 275.
