FNG here just bought my new rig with 4K miles and saw the illuminated badge for the first time. I will build this rig slowly but first impressions great bones with shitty skin. Thankfully I have the 4 aux switches. I will probably delete and sell here this vanity logo and reroute power elsewhere. Anyone here have the same experience?

RE: "shitty skin" I think it's all cars my friend. My first project today putting on mud flaps the hardware and plastic is all crap. I'm a sailboat quality Man who like stainless steel and forget about it, not cheap plastic plugs on a $60K rig.

I’m putting my flaps on tomorrow! I miss the old rubber flexible ones, but this is what we get these days…

Wait until you have a moment of panic when the blow dryer at the car wash flexes your hood so much you think it's about to become an 18" wide dent right in front of your eyes.

Mine has that light too, and I don't hate it. But I bought the Trailhunter grill and it's going to go away soon.

I don't know how far it actually was...But it looked like it caved at least 3/4" deep and two feet wide under that blow dryer.

It's legit the thinnest hood I've ever experienced, and I've driven some magnificent piles of shit LOL

Love the rims too 😆

i completely agree with the OP’s comment. Way too much plastic. Similar on other new vehicles I suppose.

So many different preferences and priorities. Good on Toyota for giving folks options.
But I came to be helpful.... The lighted logo plugs directly into an existing connector associated with the wiring to the passenger side headlight. I suspect you could use that same power source to power something else that you want to go on when headlights on - as long as the current draw is low enough. Would require using the connector that comes with the part so it would no longer be functional to sell. So just an idea.

I actually like the option. Only reason I did not purchase during the big sale was that I already blacked out my logo.

Works for some . Doesn't work for others. To each his own.

Just glad we have plenty of accessories to choose from so that we can get it close to what we consider acceptable.

Joke's on you, I'm too scared to take it through a car wash because the paint and clear coat are such cheap crap.

What I find incredible is that folk that think a vehicle they chose to purchase and think the vehicle is crap...but still chose to go ahead a purchase anyway. iQ slippage is what I am detecting!
