Very nice build. I did the same on my 1998 3rd gen back in the day when I lived in SW Colorado and camped everywhere. Now I'm a lot older and just bought a 6th gen and tow an overland trailer and miss the simplicity of your great rig!
I never use ECO mode in my BMW it turns it into a boring gutless wonder. I actually do use it in my runner as I still have torque (it's a HV) and performs nearly as well as standard and hopefully saves fuel. I always put in Sport mode in the mountains and where I need to pass the idiots. It does...
I bought the regular off road and considering the premium has the same crappy paint, the same thin body panels and cheap glass, and all the crappy plastic I'm glad I saved a few bucks. I'm still very upset about the poor physical quality of my SUV compared to quality German vehicles I'm used to...
I heard a noise near the passenger rear tire upper left side. I'm worried a piece of gravel may have lodged there? Perhaps I should post this on the forum?
I love the truck and it's 4WD capabilities. I hate the thin glass, cheap aluminum body panels, and worst paint I've ever owned on a car. Will I sell? No. It's a great vehicle. Just piece of shit REPLACEABLE body panels and glass.
Love your outfit. Be sure to push the Tow Haul driving mode in addition to adding your trailer details in settings. I was anal about setting my 15' trailer and when I realized trailer setting it pulled even better. Cheers.
I owned a gen 3 1998 4Runner. I had a neighbor with a gay Prius zero issues so I trusted the new hybrid. I bought and very pleased and have warranty forever.
These SUV's are way overpriced. If your mechanical just buy an Off Road and fix it up to your specs or better yet buy it used. I love my hybrid, The torque is great and I actually use the 120V outlets (running tools, compressor, etc). I'm planning to keep this for a while and will be changing...
I took the Off Road to a very difficult trail sand mud rock and tested all the modes and WTF crawl mode is great! Very impressed with my new ride. We just got dumped on in Tahoe and I finally got to fully test in deep snow, ice, etc and the damn thing is a snow machine. Performed flawlessly...
The night I drove my 4Runner home from the dealership the first thing I did is was charge the 12V battery as I assumed it had been sitting on the lot. The Owners Manual instructions were easy and it charged up just fine. I wish Toyota provided SOC (State Of Charge) dashboard info on the 12V &...
These have the third best resale value in the industry. I was seriously considering a 2 door Bronco with 0% financing but am very pleased I pulled the trigger here. Great car doesn't need advertising.
Ya I bought mine used 4K miles and original owner ordered illuminated emblem which at first I wasn't a fan of by now has grown on me and will keep. The PPF is good but I am repairing a lot of chips. Bought Husky Matts bomber had them in my 98 runner. Mud flaps and hood lifters are great...
My Underground is the worst paint I've ever owned on a vehicle. Absolutely ashamed and researching solutions after paint sucks should I wrap it and PPF (PS I ordered Toyota PPF ansd it sucks ass!).
