Brakes recall fix parts are back ordered until January 2026?

Took my 6th gen to the dealer today for the squeaking front brakes. I was told they were back ordered till January of 2026. Does this sound right is this taking that long with anyone else?

doesn't sound right but who the heck knows.. just went the other day to the dealer, parts arrived 2 days later. I would call diff dealer's parts dept and ask if the part numbers are available / eta. There is another thread on TSB somewhere.

Tell your dealer to use the tsb parts from the tundra tsb. It’s the same brake pads and anti rattle and shim kit. Mine was ordered 2 weeks ago and they ended up using the tundra tsb parts. So when mine does come in they will just use it I guess. But tbh it didn’t fix the problem so don’t rush it. I think there gonna need to redo this with rotors not just pads.

We took delivery of our TRD ORP hybrid 1 July…didn’t hear squeal initially but makes sense a little wear on brake pads would result in the squeal when backing up. Strange, ours doesn’t do it consistently but a pattern I see is if you wash the truck or it it’s driven in rain and you park it, the squeal is pretty consistent.
We called our local Dealer in central Missouri and they also said that parts were back-ordered…hope they are diagnosing just changing out pads, springs and shims for a more complete brake rebuild to get squeal to go away!!!
