zero vibration on my TH. had a slight misalignment in the beginning but was fixed under warranty. contact toyota 800 number and let them know. they will hopefully work with dealer to get it fixed.
looks awesome! considering that those wheels weigh 45% less than OE, curious to know how is mpg / handling after. Did you have to get adapter rings? if so which ones. Looking at getting Volk 05x / 08 X to get rid of that wheel weight as well.
doesn't sound right but who the heck knows.. just went the other day to the dealer, parts arrived 2 days later. I would call diff dealer's parts dept and ask if the part numbers are available / eta. There is another thread on TSB somewhere.
it's a known glitch. I tried the phone route and called Toyota and was told they'll call
me back because first line of support is damn useless. I fiddled with app and I fixed mine by adding a credit card to the app in subscription. just selected (Go Anywhere) which has remote connect and drive...
My Connected services went down today. Have subscription until mid 2026. Restarted the car - nothing. Navigation, remote unlock - everything down. On phone rn w. Toyota (annoyed). Remember when sht just worked?
instead of killing the original grill just have your local shop replace the grill for a new one part no. (53101-35170) appx $270.00 (labor should be $170 max).. and go to this thread for : overlays color / part no. Strong suggestion.. do not use heater on grille... original letters will be...
I really dont understand this... car says "refuel" and pump stops at 16 something gallons in a 19 gallon tank??? maybe toyota left Tacoma's smaller tank size coded in software... since both cars are essentially the same.
toyota 100% forgot / ignored recalibrating the rear camera to compensate for OME lift on trailhunter. I've noticed similar distortion after some owners swapped to heritage grill upfront which relocated the camera higher. Also resolution on backup camera at night suuuuuucks.
100% Keep the Limited longer. Your current car is tried and tested. From personal experience, Toyota has some things to work out in terms of quality / assembly. Not sure why you'd want to switch up to begin with.. hopefully it's not for gas mileage (because its really not that great).
my window sticker was generated on 3/31, it was done being built around end of March / early April. picked up my car from dealer on 5/16 (it arrived 5/15)
don't know if this applies. on the side of the back seats there are vents... i believe for hybrid battery... if they get blocked it starts to make (wind-like) noise... like there is a bad door seal or something. had a cargo blanket in the car and it partially covered it.. was losing my damn mind...
Allllrighty then.. after looking for 4 months with to replace my 2012 Highlander Hybrid Limited (which was an awesome car for all of its 13 years) I narrowed it down to 4Runner Trailhunter & Tacoma Trailhunter... ultimately though went with the 4Runner.. thanks to this website and other online...
