33" Nitto Terra Grappler tires (265/70r18) installed on 18" Factory Upgrade TRD Wheels.

So I pulled the trigger on some 33" Nitto Terra Grapplers tires (replaces the Falken Wildpeak AT3WA that comes with 18" TRD Wheels package upgrade). At first I wanted to go 34" with a 285/70r18 but there were not many options for the 18" wheel. Most were E load and the only nice C load I could find were the Wildpeaks but they are Heavy! 70lbs per tire.

That being said this is my wife's car, I did not want to run the E load or the heavy tire so I chose to go with a 33s and I am happy. It drives very smooth on the highway with minimal noise and I like the way it looks for now but might add a lift in the future.

did you have any rubbing or did you have to make any adjustments with the 275/70/18

No rubbing at all. It now has 2" level

Still waiting on mine to get of QC hold hopefully this week. I will be using the two tone TRD OR wheels and a 1.25" PEAK Suspension front level spacer. Cant make up my mind on the 265/70 or 275/70. I will be running the splash guards as well.

They stick out past the fenders maybe an inch or two. I think it looks better like that.

This looks great! Did you consider the 275/70/18 of the same tire? I’m going back and forth with going with the 265/70/18 like you did and the slightly wider 275’s but unsure if they’ll push out too much. And, you’re still on the stock suspension, no level or lift?

Sorry if you answered this before but what kind of Running Boards and where did you buy them?

I went with the TRD Pro wheels because the stock wheels are horrible to look at. I went with 33" Nitto ridge grapplers, the TRD Pro wheels are 18X8.5 with a +22 offset. I think they look great compared to the stock wheels.

Looks great. The stock do look bad and that's my dilemma now. I want the TRD pros as they look so good, but in Canada we can't apparently customizing isn't so simple. They won't allow me to get the TRD pro wheels.

Looks great! How is the ride? I did the same, I love the look, but it’s definitely more of a harder, bumper ride in my opinion.

Good job,. The TRD Off Road Premium standard wheels are super ugly. They really missed the mark with their 2 tone wheels. Looks as if these are getting ordered later today along with the TRD Center Caps. I'm going to switch the Michelins over to the new wheels as Julie will never be off road. To whom ever pulled the trigger on the 3 tone wheel, you suck. I'm also going to do the Westcott Lift as well. Thanks for sharing

Anyone interested in 5 18" TRD Off Road Wheels w/center caps, I'll have them available for sale? I might add that they're absolutely beautiful.
