What are people liking for the TRD pro for floor mats. Weather Tech or Lasfit? I currently have Weather Tech but had Lasfit on my 5th Gen. I find the Weather Tech a bit slippery and more plastic. For the cargo area I have the Toyota mat.

What are others using and what are your thoughts?

We got Lasfit. They’re awesome, no complaints at all. When I was doing research I read a lot of negative stuff about Weathertech (how thin and cheaply made they are, etc)

I have no experience with Lasfit mats, and I agree with RTRD_Will, the old Weathertech mats were thin and could develop warping. BUT, the new Weathertech HP liners are freaking awesome! Thick, pliable, fit great, and clean up like new with just water and a little AP cleaner. 10/10, would buy them again, they're in all four of my vehicles.

I really wish Husky liners did their homework better on our trucks. I had a set of them on my 25 Tacoma. The coverage and durability was great, but the drivers side corner refused to lay flat, even after 14 mos in the vehicle. I read comments on here from people stating that they had the same issue. When they designed these, they just didn't do it properly. Unfortunate because they are usually my go-to mats.

I plan to keep my OEM cargo mat, but I'm also trying to decide between Lasfit and Weathertech for the front and rear seats. If anyone has pics of them installed that would be appreciated.

Very happy with my Weathertech. I especially like how far forward their rear cargo mat goes.

I also went with Lasfit. When I was researching, the Lasfits seemed to have more coverage on the sill of the door compared to Weathertech. I know that my kids would scuff that plastic getting in and out with their cleats in no time..

I agree with Mattb124, though, that the Weathertech cargo matt is better in coverage.. It goes totally forward under the rolled up second row seats, which is better than any other that I've seen. I just valued the door sill protection more.

+1 for Lasfit. I've never seen or handled the WT liners, so I can't compare. I am very satisfied with my Lasfit liners though. Great coverage. The front mats are flexible enough to go in easy but rigid enough to take out without falling debris everywhere. Easy to clean and they look great.

Have had many sets of Lasfit and WeatherTech I'll chime in. Buy the Lasfit ones, period. The WT ones are hard and stiff and do not clean easily without some specialty chemicals to get them to look good again. Plus they just don't have the coverage of the Lasfit ones. Looking at the door sills front and rear on the 4Runners and the coverage is far superior, especially those of us who have pets and wive's who drag their feet across them all the time. Here's a pic of my 5th gen and you can see they come up over the sill. This both provides protection and keeps the edge from curling like you see on so many other brands. I'm waiting for a sale to put them in my new 6th gen. TRD Jon does a good review.

Either way I strongly suggest placing a piece of cardboard under the mat. Both are thinner than they use ro be and will wear a spot through your carpet.

So far we have liked the LastFit mats. We bought the full set of LastFit for our 25 4Runner and they seem good. Had WeatherTech in my F150 and agree they seemed more plasticy. Just bought another set of Lastfit for our new Honda CR-V

I first ordered a set of LastFit. I got them but they did not sit flat, especially by the gas pedal which was a no-go. I wanted to return them but they told me to keep them and then credited me the full price. I now use them in the back to keep my bike from scratching up the plastic. I ride a lot and it's easy to throw the bike in the back of the 4R. After the LastFit issues, I ordered the Weather Tech and they have been perfect. For me, yes they are more expensive than the LastFit but they are great quality and it's a local company. They are also easy to clean.
