It was the only one AutoZone had and the short nipple will still handle a hoseNice. I'm considering the Fumoto valve and debating the short or long nipple. During the install was there enough room for the long? What made you go with the short?
If anyone wants to hear the difference of upgrading to the Toyota premium horn, I found a short video on YouTube. Here's the link to it:
I found a good video on installing these Toyota premium horns. It's on a Land Cruiser, but the installation is essentially the same. One thing to note from installation video is that the 500Hz horn is installed on the passenger side (left side when you are facing the front of the car).
I'm interested in installing it. These horns seem like Part# 08522-60020. But there is another Part# 08522-60010 which are these same horns, but the 08522-60010 horns include a sound deflector which supposedly helps to direct the sound towards the front grille instead of downward.
I need to do this upgrade too.
I've installed Hella horns on my ORP. Absolutely love that now people will know when I'm pissed instead of people thinking it's a corolla honking at them.If anyone wants to hear the difference of upgrading to the Toyota premium horn, I found a short video on YouTube. Here's the link to it:
Nice! Any video sound clips of the Hella horn upgrade?I've installed Hella horns on my ORP. Absolutely love that now people will know when I'm pissed instead of people thinking it's a corolla honking at them.
I'd like to see someone compare Toyota Premium Horn vs Hella.
I'll get a sound clip over the weekend when I'm home. I don't want to annoy my neighbors at the apartment right now.Nice! Any video sound clips of the Hella horn upgrade?
I have a '26 ORP that is 1-1/2 months old and I've noticed the windshield wiper motors are loud. I mean, you don't hear it during heavy rain obviously, but with light rain and having it on intermittently, it's definitely noticeable.- Here's what I've done so far...![]()
- Front windows tinted to match rears.
- 4x Raptor lights installed.
- Waiting on Powder coating co. doing all 3 tow hooks red (getting back this week)
Yesterday, service visit #1, after 5600 kms (3500 miles).
Had oil Change #1.
Also, I think they fixed the drivers side door shake/rattle sound, at least it sounded better that's for sure... of course the tech couldn't hear it in his test drive, but they never hear what owners hear. BUT my toyota service shop did the fix none the less. (Fix from this thread https://www.4runner6g.com/.../jbl-stereo-rattling-and.../ ) I showed him the video, so they did what the video did...
As for the noisy windshield wipers I have on my Pro. It's a known issue, especially here in the pacific north west. We just use our wipers more than anyone else in North America. They weren't broken to begin with, just got louder with time I'm told.
I went in my friends TRD Pro (he works at the dealer, his Pro is 1 week old, and we heard no wiper noise in his. Anyways, parts are on back order, have another appt. scheduled in 6 weeks.
