I had this issue using 3M VHB to mount my radio in the passenger footwell. That stuff should be more than sufficient, but the texture on the interior panels makes it hard for tapes to stick. You could theoretically sand down the panel a little bit, but that’s not something I personally would...
i did watch a couple, but wasn’t quite sure what I was looking at. Thought I’d consult the expert advice of the fine folks in this forum, but thanks for your comment.
Hey Everyone,
I’m looking into solutions to improve all the interior lighting throughout the car (map, dome, cargo, etc.) I’ve seen plenty of threads about Meso installations, but I’m not looking to go this route at the moment.
To anyone who might have done the Meso installation though, are...
Hey everyone,
I installed an Auxbeam RA80 in my 4Runner this weekend, and as a complete novice in automotive wiring, I couldn’t find a comprehensive guide on this install that answered all my questions. Hopefully, I can cover those details in this thread.

The primary bane of my existence this weekend was installing an auxbeam switch panel. I’ll do a comprehensive write-up on that with everything I wish I knew before starting and couldn’t find clear answers to on the internet.

the auxbeam panel comes with fuses sized 30, 20, 10, and 5amp. Let’s say...
I can’t exactly speak from experience, but I do have the original Prinsu rack waiting in my apartment for a warm enough day to install it. I bought the rack specifically for a rooftop tent. Its dynamic load capacity is 700 lbs and the static load capacity is 1200 lbs.
So essentially, as long...
