Hi guys, I wasn’t going to post but I’ve learned so much from this forum I thought I should contribute since I haven’t seen this lift and wheel/tire combo posted.

Tires: Falken AT4W 285/70r18 C-rated
Wheels: Volks TE37SB 18x8.5 +22 offset in Black Shadow LTD finish (translucent matte)
Lift: Peak suspension 1 inch spacer lift in front

Slider is Greenlane offroad’s aluminium sliders (25 lbs each). I don’t offroad so I didn’t want the weight but I did want the shopping cart protection lol.

Install by Autocustoms in Honolulu, HI.

What’s the damage on shipping out to HI? I’m about to move there and have a few mods in mind but might kick the can if it’s ridiculously high

Looks clean!
Beware of rock chips on rear fender flares and even rear doors. Maybe your side steps might protect enough.

For the sliders in June, there was free shipping and no tarrifs. So the site’s price was what I paid.

For the wheels shipping was around $500 and tarrifs were a total of $120 with a $20 service charge.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the advice! I actually PPF’d it because of that exact concern. I hope the slider does prevent some damage on the doors though.

Looks fantastic! Let us know how you like the tires, hoe the MPG fares and if there is any rubbing. Thanks!

Great choice! Went with TE37 in gunmetal 18x9 offset 0 with stock tires. Definitely PPF the rear flares and bottom of doors. Otherwise expect those areas to be sandblasted by rocks.

After a few weeks, Im happy to report that the MPGs are almost unchanged. Maybe a 0.1 mpg difference at most. It does feel a little slower to accelerate but that may be in my head lol.

I love it! I was looking at these but I was concerned about the 0 offset and rub. Are you planning on upgrading the tires? Looks great as it is tbh.

Thx! Nah… I went down that road before with prior builds. What you gain in additional trail clearance is not worth what you sacrifice. Acceleration, braking, handling, and MPG. Stock tires with 50 lb total rotational weight reduction with lighter wheels gains in all 3 areas mentioned before. 18x9 with 0 offset with stock 265’s has no rubbing issues whatsoever.

My Tacoma on bigger mud terrains below.
