Just got a 2026 TRD Offroad and looking for some suggestions on wheels. Looking for bronze 17 inch wheels for 275/70/R17 tires - likely Toyo Open Country or Falken Wildpeaks. Stock suspension.

I've read that the 6th gen doesnt fit the older wheel patterns - would these TRD wheels fit? https://autoparts.kingstoyota.com/p...Nz5n6Y-cUQm4ooTObQ-zP1vKgICqP9T7XV58S7ABAm6jd

I'm open to other wheel suggestions as well. Just want to make sure everything fits before I pull the trigger on anything. TIA!

I will note that that tire (32.2") is .4" smaller diameter than your TRD OR stock 265/70R18 (32.6") (well in standard sizing - Falkens tend to be larger so a falken might be closer to your stock). But why not consider the 18" Trailhunter (bronze) wheel and still go 275/70 but move up in size (32.6" stock to 33.2").
The TH wheel is +20 offset so will still be decent poke if that is what you are going for. And I believe there are many examples on this forum of that size fitting without rub. (That +4 wheel from previous gen might have a rub issue on 6G - probably not for a 32" tire but it moves into the risk zone. Note that 5G stock offset was much lower than 6G (+55 vs + 15 for TRD OR I think)).
I get it that there are lots more tire choices for 17" wheels and sometimes leads to more "rubber height" but 275/70 is the same rubber height. So, just an alternative to consider since you asked. I believe the part number is PTR56-35240-5F. (You might even be able to get it from the same Toyota parts web site:>)

Been eyeing Rays Offroad wheels. I’d have to go +35 or higher on offset, but for you, they have more offset options. Like the idea of a JDM wheel pairing and the bronze Rays are pretty badass IMO.

To be clear since I guess you missed my intent. I was not linking that other thread for you to read the entire thing for wheel suggestions. I was linking it because it showed the 6th gen bolt pattern is the same as those TRD wheels you were asking whether or not they were compatible. Meaning they were. I guess I should have typed more words.

Lol no worries, no one owes me anything. Any help is much appreciated! I'll be referring to that link as well. Just learning what I can before I end up buying something I regret.

I hear you, but there are some others in here that tend to drag this forum down and I am not in anyway wanting to contribute to that. Ask all the questions and gather all the feedback you want or need my friend. Happy hunting for wheels! Those bronze TRD wheels are sick. One of the things that drew me to the Trailhunter was the wheels.

I was doing wheel research prior to launch of 6th gen and if i remember correctly :
- Bolt pattern is still the same.
- center bore is smaller on new TNGA platform, something like 95mm vs older 106 (goes way back to 1st gen 4R) : this means you can fit older wheels (not accounting for offset, calipers, etc...) on our 6th gens with center bore rings. Older Toyota trucks are not compatible with the new wheels.

So OP, to answer your question they should fit fine: I wanted those same wheels before I went TH. 17" should clear calipers and I think someone here early on posted pictures with older TRD bronze wheels. I think you will need center bore rings.

Decided to go with the 17" Method 703 bronze wheels and Toyo Open Country AT3 285/70/R17s. Also got the appropriate hub rings (106 to 95mm), Method lug nut kit and additional TPMS sensors. Long day of shopping but they're all ordered!
