I looked at that but prefer the powder coated aluminum over plastic.
Thanks for the link. I did look at the install manual and looks simple enough.
From what you know during your install, does the three bolts point of connections currently serve any purpose? Or are they just there for accessory upgrades like this cover?
thanks for any insights. It looks so much better.

I think three bolts for mounting the cover brackets were securing other mounts but adding the brackets did not impact anything. The fourth one is added to an existing empty mounting hole. I installed it a while ago so going on memory. It was an easy install. Let comes with everything including easy to follow instructions. I'm pretty sure they have a video on YouTube.

Where did you get that classic tri-color badge on your front grill? Or did that come with the truck?

Installed ditch lights and switch. Took me all afternoon to do the wiring - watched several tutorials on YouTube and got it all to work!

Looks good!!! That’s one of the next things on the list. Did you tap into another wire so the button stays illuminated when it gets dark? If so which wire???

Thanks! I didn’t tap into another wire… I’m guessing it draws some power directly from the battery connection to stay illuminated 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you followed the instructions the backlight for switch is paired with power so it’s always on. someone said pink wire is illumination wire on factory switches.
