This is almost identical to the setup I’m planning for my wife’s TRD Off-Road Premium that’s scheduled for delivery in the next couple of weeks. Looks great!

Did you happen to measure the height before and after installing the 1” ReadyLift to see what the true lift gain was? Also, just to confirm, you haven’t experienced any rubbing at full lock with the 275/70/18s on the TRD Pro wheels?

I’ve been thinking that tire size is the perfect sweet spot for stock suspension paired with a mild lift.

Here is my question if you’re gonna put TRD Pro wheels on a Sport. You must want a TRD Pro?

I think it should be locked down to per trim level and anyone would need to buy aftermarket and not OEM

No, I’m just saying I’m the type to go for the aftermarket stuff. I didn’t see the point of a SR5 (example) putting TRD Pro rims it!

All the hate on people putting Pro parts on different trims, must really annoy you. Have a look at her other post lol. Although nice to get the top trim and not have to mod as much, depends. Not everyone can afford a Pro or Trailhunter, or no stock, not needing all features etc. Shouldnt be reason, ohh I’m not allowed to buy parts not belonging to the trim. Coming from german, community and enthusists have Porche wheels on VW’s. Silly things with upbadging, ohh well. Have fun, their ride :)

It’s wild how you’ve somehow made this whole TRD Pro OEM wheel thing your entire personality—on here and Facebook. You clearly don’t know much if your go-to advice is telling people to ditch solid OEM options for cheap wheels like Fuel, XD, and whatever else clogs the discount racks. Not everyone wants to turn their 4Runner into a rolling catalog of bad decisions.

most aftermarket wheels are not hub centric and to be quite honest, most are gaudy and kind of ugly. Some of the methods, without fake bead lock rings, KMC, Volk and very few others are not just an outright downgrade from OEM.

So true, well said.
