For SR5 owners, when replacing the lower grill — is that portion a camera hole a sensor or simply a cover cap?
Interested in doing this with the lightbar.

Did you ever get an answer on this? I’m curious as well

It’s a blank cover, no camera down there. The vision system comes from the mirror area on windshield.

Gonna do the Grille Swap here in the next few weeks. I have the camera though, other than relocating it and splitting the harness so it reaches, do i have to replace the bracket or is it just an easy swap? Does it need recalibrated?

You’ll need a bracket. I used the Rave one and it works perfectly. Came with a tiny torx driver to remove the current screws and remount. I think there are some cheaper ones out there, I just only have personal experience with this one.

There’s a process to do small calibration changes (or you can pay the dealer to do a full update) but on my current one I haven’t messed with it and it’s not terribly noticeable honestly.

Curious if anybody has been able to get the connector/wiring for the factory light bar.

I just bought a factory light bar, and have all the rest of the parts to make the switch. I just have to figure out how to wire it to one of my factory aux switches. Having the OEM connector for the back of the light would be optimal, I think. But I can't find the ding dang dong part number or connector code/thing to look it up.

Was really wanting this too so following along. Thinking about doing the same and really want the oem plug for the light bar.

I bought the factory light bar, should be here next week (weather is gonna hose up delivery times I'm sure). If I have to sit at a dealership parts guy for 30 minutes to find the connector, I will.

I'm assuming that the extra connections are for control via high beams and a couple of other parameters, unlike aftermarket bars. I just need the hot and ground LOL

This connector is similar. But would be a $96.30 mistake if incorrect.

These guys also take requests to help identify a connector when you send pics.

Whoa. That looks crazy close. I image searched and found one on Ali express for around $15. I don’t have the light bar yet though, sort of dependent on us figuring out how to power it.

My light bar decision hinges on your success or failure. No pressure

I don't actually care about having a light bar, I just like the look of the grills. So I'm not spending $500 on a Heretic or something equally cool. Factory bar is fine. And eBay has them for $200+.

I'll make this shit work :D
