TRD ORP 2025- Speaker Rattle

I have seen some similar threads regarding the speaker rattling on the 2025 4Runners and unfortunately mine started rattling not long after I got mine in July.

I took it into the dealership and after my 2nd visit I got them to let me play a song to replicate it. They serviced it, said they they fixed the problem, but on a long drive about a week after I heard it again, this time it was farther up towards the speaker and door hinges. I took it to another dealer in Oklahoma after my car trip and they said they couldn’t replicate it (doubtful…) and said it is most likely the tuning/sound setting causing distortion.

Any advice on how to get this resolved without having to pay for an after market shop to install foam or something along those lines? I would appreciate it!

Commenting to follow. On some songs, I get the same thing.

After reading other peoples dealership experiences (including yours), I don't put a lot of faith in dealerships fixing anything unless its a recall, warranty or TSB item.

I get the same problem while driving and playing the music at a volume above 20-30. For some reason it stops when I’m not moving. I hope there’s a solution to this since it’s annoying

Just pay a shop. I am about to. Mine is coming back also and I hear it on the passenger door. If you want it done quicker and less stress just pay them.

Also dealing with this issue…. Dealer could not reproduce, but I can 100% of the time… Frustrating. I have another apt to go back and show the techs the noise. I wouldn’t pay a dime to fix it. Hold Toyota responsible. It’s not a normal characteristic of the vehicle..
