I did mine a little over a week ago. Mine don’t have the diverter. If I can do it, anyone can do it. Very simple, plug and play, no need to disconnect the battery. Huge improvement in the horn.

Nice. Sounds like diverter isn’t necessary. Will pick one up from Amazon

100% agreed. I'm working with my 14yr old son, teaching him basic car maintenance, and he did the install under my supervision.
