Was looking to get new (bigger) tires.
I kind of like the factory wheels on the car so was wondering what would be the biggest fit no lift.

Currently rocking the default tires (Falken WP A/T 265/70/18)
I kind of like the stock wheels that it came with (I believe they’re 18x7.5?)

I’m thinking of doing 275s or 285s but I understand there’s potential rubbing and spare tire mounting issues. Thoughts?

I'm pretty certain you'll have zero rubbing with the stock wheels and those tire options. I had 33.5" tires on the stock suspension with +25 mm 17" wheels and they didn't rub. I've thought about going back to my stock TRD OR 18" wheels. Yes they're 18x7.5 with a +55 mm offset. Silver looks great btw

Yes you should be perfectly fine with running either of those size tires without any issues

I recommend staying with the stock size 265/70R18. That way no worry about speedometer accuracy or tire rubbing. They are plenty big. I chose Falken Wildpeak AT4W's (stock size) and upgraded to 20 mm Pro wheels. You get some bump out, an aggressive looking tire, and tread that won"t hold and throw stones. It's a perfect setup.

Also, staying with the stock size no need to change your spare.

usually going +1 or -1 setup will either add 1 mph or remove 1 mph from your actual speed on oem size tire (not including the built in 1-2 mph discrepancy the speedometer inherently has vs actual)

@ 75 mph displayed, actual is 73 mph on oem size tires @ 31 psi @ 37F

(i checked this morning what my tire psi was since @ 70F they were suppose to be @ 35 psi)

and yes its already in the high 30's in ND already for mornings.

My Trailhunter's speedometer is dead on accurate. I think that is why my OBC fuel consumption is within a few tenths of calculated. Both very different and odd given my previous vehicles.

For tires, I'd recommend the Nokian Outpost nAT.

I think I’m gonna stay with the stock size. Sure I could fit bigger tires but the spare tire well can only accommodate a 32.7in diameter and I don’t want to get a swing arm

I have Toyo OC ATIII LT275/70R18 E-rated tires with diameter of 33.2" which fit fine in the spare space.

This answers my question then! Thank you! I know there was a tad bit of clearance down there just wasn’t sure how much extra from the default 265/70/18s
