Finally received it today. Long story short: With some very easy modifications it fits.
- The mounting plates needed a couple new holes / opened up a couple existing holes, and happily whatever modification you need to do is covered by the stock grab handles. I used a drill press and a Dremel.
- The mounting plates needed to be bent in slightly.
- The shelf itself needs the rear lip bent a little because it's slightly too close to the ceiling at first.
Ultimately if you like a little tinkering and appreciate utilizing dead space for storage it's easily worth it.

That looks cool, however that will almost certainly interfere with the side curtain airbags that stop your/your passengers head from smashing the glass in an accident.
It's always cool watching those test videos and seeing how much technology there is in cars these days to keep occupants safe.

Wait there are no coat hooks and I bet that is why. I was looking the other day to hang suit jacket and was like WTFHaha do not hang coat hangers on the coat hooks.
