SR5 Spare tire mount space - does 275/70/18 tire fit?

I have a 2025 SRT 4RUNNER. It has stock 17 inch wheels and tires. I am wanting to put 18 inch tires and wheels. It has the donut spare from factory. Does anyone know if if I can fit a 275 70 18 tire in the mount underneath?

The largest I have heard people putting in there is a 285/70r17, which are usually just a hair under 33". A 275/70r18's seems to be around 33.5", so it be a tight fit for sure. You could try and if you need a little extra room, just keep it a little deflated, then if you need it, just re-inflate it.

Did you have to modify anything to get it to fit? We just got 275/70r18 terra grapplers and the shop says the spare doesn’t fit.
