Full front end PPF and ceramic coat was what I did (at a reputable shop). Spent $2K flat. As others mentioned, do not go through automatic washes. If you have the space, then invest in a pressure washer and car wash supplies. I like Chemical Guys but there are other reputable brands out there...
Rough Country! Front and belly skid plate for $180. Can't beat that value. No drilling, fits right into OEM hardware. Super easy install with oil change cutouts for the filter and drain plug. I'm a light off roader too so I don't need the most durable/heaviest skid plate out there.
I installed mine a couple weeks ago and agree with all of your pain points lol. Using a plastic pry tool helped remove the housing pretty easy but I also could not disconnect the main wiring to remove the housing unit for the longest time. The plastic clips were very hard to remove, even with a...
Can someone with the Prinsu Pro Roof Rack list the height of the roof rack please? Surprising that I can't find this anywhere online.
I have an OEM roof rack currently on my 6th gen and am looking to upgrade. However, I have maybe about an inch or so of extra clearance in my garage since I have...
The rear light has a bracket that can disconnect from the OEM light by undoing the plastic clips. Once removed, you can put the Meso hatch light on it and clip it back up on your headliner.
No drilling required on the rear as well.
Not OP, but I got PPF on high impact areas and ceramic coating for $2K on my SR5.
OPs job is likely more expensive (guessing around $3k ish) considering they got the ceramic tint done at the same time as well.
I’ve got a 2025 SR5 4WD and the stock all weather mats aren’t cutting it. They curl, have some exposed areas, and they definitely weren’t designed for the way I use my truck.
I’m in Vegas, so my 4Runner sees a little bit of everything — snow trips up to Mt. Charleston, dusty off‑road trails...
I highly recommend using a plastic pry tool to make your life easier. You can find some on Amazon for like $5. I also pulled down where the blue clippings are in this post linked below.
To disconnect the wiring harness, there is a small clip you need to push down to wiggle out the connection...
Thank you. I was able to install them today. I used a plastic pry tool to get the head unit console out. Ran into some issues with disconnecting the wires but was able to get it out with some patience and time
I just use a flathead screwdriver to push up the hatch which signals that the trunk is closed. This turns off the cargo/tailgate lights. Before closing the trunk, just make sure to 'unlock' the hatch again by pressing the trunk release button above your license plate.
