Hello SR5 owners,
Anyone taking their SR5 off-road? Any issues? Anyone missing the rear locker?
Thank you.

I thought that might be the case. I’m sure it’s much better than the 4X4’s of the old days.I took my ORP on some trails like Broken Arrow in Sedona AZ (rated a 5 onX app) and didn't even engage 4lo. Not saying you won't find need but I think you'll be pretty good if keeping it relatively mild.
I’ll check it out.I have taken my SR5 on a bunch of trails and spots that made me nervous for my skill level and 4lo was extremely impressive and got me through no issues. I don’t think I will wheel hard enough to need a locker which is why I went SR5 vs OR but this thing is still impressive.
TFL did a slip test of the 4R limited and shows the difference 4lo makes in these rigs, it’s a good watch.
Probably not much if any. I haven’t checked.Does the SR5 come with any underbody protection?
it has some, but not scrape-worthyDoes the SR5 come with any underbody protection?
Don't think so... the ORP only came with protection equivalent to a wall of a soup can under the oil pan.Does the SR5 come with any underbody protection?
Because I remember the CarCareNut looking at the underside of a 6gen LTD which is way more expensive and it only had a skid plate covering half (!) of the gas tank.it has some, but not scrape-worthy

Is that the gap that used to be covered up by the air dam? In another thread people were worried about rocks getting thrown up into there damaging the intercooler etc.Under body protection is a super easy problem to solve. I have the front protected… no need for the mid/rear yet.
