Reno Hitch slider - protection for the hitch

Simple, Xtra protection for the hitch. Ensure, if you’re putting on a hitch locking pin, it needs to be 4.5” long. I went with the standard size, it doesn’t fit, due to the 6000lb towing capacity. Toyota enforced the hitch. Got both from Amazon Reno hitch slider, and Towworks lock.

Doesn't this just make it _more_ likely you'll impact the hitch, via the huge hook?

Seems like it makes your entry or departure angle less favorable by extending the hitch, and tbh looks a lot like a gimmick. How would it “protect” your hitch receiver any better than an installed hitch?

I think it's useful, had one on my 5th gen, and it honestly saved my ass many times from destroying my rear bumper
