I'm going to stick to wireless connection for convenience BUT I can say that I have experienced the connection dropping out completely at the same spot on I-99 near Altoona in PA almost every time I drive past that spot - the system tells me: "your connection has timed out". Then it comes back a minute or two later. Very odd and have decided that it is some strong RF interference at that location. I analyze RF interference for a living and someday will try to figure out what the source is but have not done that legwork yet.No problem at all.
Been thinking about switching to the USB port on the head unit for a more stable connection. There is an interesting spot as I'm driving into Dripping Springs, outside Austin, that I get skipping while playing audio. No matter Spotify, YT Music, or Audible. Must be some strong interference to mess up the wifi signal.
You can turn on developer options for AA and tell it to only do wired. I tried this and the connection was constantly stable. Just sucks as that port isn't really in a great place. The two ports down near the wireless charger would have been better.
