About to have a bunch of installs completed and one of them is mounting up some SS3 Diode Dynamic ditch lights. Wondering if anyone has thoughts on brackets - DD OEM or Wescott Designs or Cali Raised. Lots of others to choose from. Anyone have any personal experiences?

I have the Westcott brackets installed. I really like them as they are low pro and keep the lights tight and as out of my field of view as much as possible.

Have you found that the lower mount designs loses light across your hood? Just comparing WD to some of the others and that seems to be the biggest difference. Most others seem to sit higher up.

I use Morimoto 4Bangers. If I try to use them in a straight forward direction, I lose some light on the hood. But if I'm angling them about 10 degrees toward the ditch (which I assume is their main purpose) they hit perfect. Just my opinion, but if they sat up higher, they would bug me a bit being in my field of view. Westcott hit the sweet spot. But your mileage may vary.
