2025-09-02 hybrid allocations update

added in red blocks difference of vehicles from previous table to the right. looks like almost 600 hybrids were either sold or pulled from inventory due to being maybe pre-sold.

reason being mine is no longer being seen by the system as its pre-sold to me (i had the only platinum list in ND and it no longer shows)

Good luck if you are out of state. That dealer will not sell to out of state buyers. I tried when I was looking for my everest.

Not sure what effect it has on Toyota's current allocations, but a friend of mine who supervises RORO at ports in the Bay Area says the volume of cargo ships is really slow right now.

I understand there are other ports. My friend oversees a lot more than Toyotas. He told me that they had seen a substantial reduction in the number of vehicles coming in. He speculated that some manufacturers were holding inventory back or reducing production until tariff issues and pricing are better resolved. Speaking on the topic of incoming, when is yours getting here? Aren't you in transit at this time?

i do know that some oem's are cutting back on production to usa due to the tariffs.

and some are moving more production to oversea's and closing plants in the usa.

you should see the fiasco with aluminum production in canada moving more sales to europe now instead of importing into the usa (and canada is the 4th largest production in the world)


from what i remember some usa plants are shutting down due to tariffs, more lost jobs in the usa than benefits, but hey at least the govt is getting billions in tariffs payments. /sarcasm

good part, i still will be first and only platinum sold in ND (edit: i should clarify, sold from a ND dealer, not including out of state buys broght into ND) come mid october . it did briefly show up on the list as the only platinum listed back in 2025-08-21 but nothing since then has shown up.

odd fact, hybrid limited and trd pro are the only trims no one really buys in AK looking back 4-5 months worth of data

I am happy to announce that I finally found an available black Platinum. Had to expand my search to 100 radius and found one in transport thru a dealer 60 miles away. My local dealer, thru which I had 1k on waiting list, only had an allocation for a white one. I agree with Nodak that platinum allocations are finally growing

i no longer post a weekly update since i have my platinum, but i willing to update as new platinum owners are looking for inventory to buy
