OEM TRD Lift Kit coming soon? Spotted in new "Trailhead Package" for 2026 4Runner

Was messing with the build tool on the Toyota website and saw that Toyota is offering a new (insanely priced) “Trailhead” Package for $12,452 *installation not included

Nothing in the package appeals to me at all other than one little line about halfway down the list of included items:

Tundra has a 3" TRD suspension and it is amazing. Comes with forged UCAs, upgraded knuckles, longer front axles, beefier end links, tie rod sleeves, and of course longer shocks and taller springs. Does not drive like it is lifted at all. So I would bet the 4runner version will be just as nice.

If this is a package for a non off-road, I suspect it's like the XP Terrain package from SET, and what you're seeing is the Trailhunter suspension being included

I assume it is the same kit used on the Tacoma, should be interchangeable. I had the TRD kit on my Tundra and a couple people in the Tundra group had it installed on Sequoias.

The package can be added to any trim, so as terrible as the package is, I think the lift included is a complete lift kit like the Tacoma.

The TRD lift on the Tacoma vs the the stock TRD OR suspension is a nice improvement to the ride quality. The TRD lift feels much more plush. I hope the 4runner lift is the same.

The roof rack and skid plates are already the on the Trailhunter too, I'm still thinking this is just the TH suspension. Which, you can already get from the parts counter, fwiw

I agree. Unless it comes with a lot of upgraded suspension parts too (links, knuckles, etc) but even then that's a pricy add on. I guess something can be said for it being fully included in the factory warranty though. But yowza that's a lot of money for a 4R.
