As with all protection I get for my vehicles, it is always for passengers, not me. :) Wife always carries a giant purse that swings around and bangs into everything. My mountain biking friends can also be careless with bags and gear.

Does yours also slam the door like she is spinning the giant Wheel of Fortune wheel?

I know, off-road vehicle, but does not mean I can't baby her as much as possible. She deserves the best.

10 minutes to install all 4, still on sale on the Toyota Parts site. Just a bunch of pull tab 3M stickers.

Part Name:
Door Panel Scuff Protectors

Part Number:
PT924-89250

Installed these as well shortly after buying my 6th gen. Anything I can do to protect the door from gouges helps!

Yeah, I guess the idea is the protector is cheaper to replace than the door panel itself.
Why not just be careful when getting in and out and conentrate on not kicking your panels. And, let passengers know that too. That's what I do and my panels look like new on all of my vehicles. I have a Corvette that the panels look like new and Vettes are hard to get in and out of. I do have to admit getting out of the Vette sometimes at 70 years old trying to not kick the panels I look like a turtle on it's back trying to get back on its feet.

surprised you dont have a helper pulling :ROFLMAO: you out of the grave (as my dad use to say when he drove my 84 celica gt)

he had a hell of a time getting out the seat when it sat so low to ground. would have to use the "B" pillar and door to get out of the seat.

Tell me you’ve never spent time with your Toyota off-road without telling me you’ve never spent time in your Toyota off-road.

Here's how my brain went when I opened this thread and saw the things.

-Those are neat, but unneeded
-Wonder if they come in colors?
-I don't think I'd pay for those
-I should buy them and paint them blue to match the truck
-Nah
-Maybe silver...

Then I went somewhere this afternoon and discovered that I have them. There were very few port-add-ons that my truck did NOT have. They threw half the port parts catalog at my truck LOL

I hadn't even noticed these until today. It's a good thing I'm so pretty.

Quite the roller coaster of emotions. It's like I tell my wife, I never claim to be a smart man.
