OEM Door Edge Guard Question

Interesting you all had metal ones and mine were only PPF.

Toyota offers two different versions, Door edge guards (metal) and door edge film, both are port or dealer add on's.

Mine looks like thick molded vinyl. It's just stuck on there with 3M.

They came installed front and rear doors on my ORP and seem totally pointless, even as someone who spends a lot of time getting in and out of the 4R with dirty shoes and boots. IMVHO.

For some reason, I got into full protection mode while the car is still in new condition.

Appreciate the pictures. Got a decent sale price on this oem part.

I will be installing this weekend.
