My OEM wide mudflaps (Pro and Trailhunter version) ordered through Olathe Toyota got delivered today. Instructions are available via TIS. Does anyone have access that can share them? Will update the post with a short writeup and installation photos for anyone else doing the same or considering.
Installation is pretty straightforward for the fronts. The TIS guide is easy to follow (provided by @brumey below). Turn the front wheels all the way one way for easy access. Rears were a little bit more involved, but not by much. The TIS instructions tell you to drill two holes in the liner and bumper tabs. The only way to do this is to remove the wheels, which is not worth the time IMO. @Vincenzo has done this install and used a hot coat hanger to melt holes. I opted for a deck screw heated by a propane torch since it was closer to the 3/16" hole you're looking to make. I marked the holes with a paint pen. I also opted to remove the whole inner liner to melt the holes. It's just removing 3 extra clips than youve already removed. Total install time was less than an hour. The wide flap option is a good fit if you're looking to go with a bigger tire like I did, or a wider offset wheel. For a little over $100, hard to beat.
Currently $108. Available here: https://parts.olathetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-4run-mudg-trd-pro-bl-pk38935s10tp
