Hello everyone,

Closed the deal on a new 2026 TRD Premium Off-Road today. In Ice Cap with the black wheels, badges, tow package moonroof and a few other bits and pieces. Paid $3000 below MSRP. taking delivery after Xmas as it's still on the train. This is my first big personal vehicle, coming from a GR Corolla and GR Supra and a whole bunch of sporty cars before that. Any required reading, and popular mods to look at?

Congrats!
Your trim comes with almost everything you need, keep it OEM+ unless you really have a need.
A few things you may want to consider:

Break in oil change, yes modern engines break in proven with oil analysis. If you dont care then skip.
Frame rust protection especially if you live in the rust belt. Can be DIY if you use fluid film or surface shield.
Screen protectors are out there and fairly cheap. if you want to protect them.
Floor matts that are much superior in coverage, check out Lastfit or similar.
Mudflaps protect against rocks flying rocks on side doors, keep them on unless offroad/deep snow.
If you go offroad in moderately difficult areas then skid plates could be useful. OEM or aftermarket exist.
Suspension mods, tire size increases, lifts, "stance" spacers all come with side effects. Research them before considering bro-ing out your vehicle.
