Little rubber ducks on the dashboard

[6thGen1419]

What's with all the Jeeps and the little rubber ducks on their dashboards? Haven't even seen little rubber ducks on 4Runner dashboards.

You wouldn't get it, its a jeep thing.

To be fair I don't either.

Can we NOT make it a 4Runner thing?

Please no ducks, let the jeeps keep their ducks. So lame.

I keep rubber frogs on my dash.

My main issue is they took the intention of what it was supposed to be and they just started buying their own ducks and put them on the dash themselves.

At one time - it was a reward for crossing a stream - since covid it has a different meaning, a sign of jeep friendship

It's Gay

Back when I had a Jeep I was told that if you're doing a water crossing you want as many of those ducks in your Jeep as possible to help with flotation so you won't drown. Other than that, they have no use whatsoever, Toyota owners don't need silly gimmicks.

Just stupid like a majority of jeep owners these days. Lattes and duckies

[3rdRunner]

The ducks…so sad. Inversely proportional to the amount of time the vehicle has actually been off road.

I have seen these twice on Tacomas.
