The only issue is retraining myself on how to get into the vehicle after five months of pulling on the steering wheel.

Just got a set. They fit perfectly and provide a foot-sized place to step up into the vehicle.
They're pretty subtle too.

Just got a set. They fit perfectly and provide a foot-sized place to step up into the vehicle.
They're pretty subtle too.

If they slide after a time of usage… what are the chances it hit the body frame?

If they slide after a time of usage… what are the chances it hit the body frame?

If they were loose enough to freely rotate, it could touch the rocker panel slightly, where Toyota has the extra thick paint buildup. Use loctite on the threads and torque to the 45 in pounds specified in the instructions and they won't move.
