Interior Lights- Map / Dome

Has anyone swapped out the interior lights. The 6th Gen are worse than the 5th. In my 5th Gen I used the MESO Custom which were an easy install. The 6th Gen version says you need to drill. I couldn’t find anymore information on that. What are people doing?

That is correct and 4 holes would be required. Although, there is a video out there of a guy who disconnected them and wired them from the same factory holes. This involves taking the led off the wire lines. Not a huge inconvenience but depends on your skill set on working with electric

Extra wiring is everything you need to connect them up to the OEM hardware. There isn’t anything extra per say you’ll use it all

Found this the other day and it worked.

Simple as the meso but used the stock cover still. It has control board to allow button to still work as before and led board. May not be as bright as meso but way brighter than stock and looks stock.

I wish they had a similar thing for the map lights.
