I know this is going to be a difficult one to diagnose or even describe to a dealer service department. When driving, taking a bend in the road, say at 30MPG, I hear one knock or tap from the interior front area. I wear hearing aids so identifying the exact area is difficult for me. My wife thinks it's from the inside the headliner in the center area.
The noise sound like an object sliding in the glovebox and tapping on the sides. I have cleared out everything, noting in the center console, glovebox, door pockets, etc. I am minimalistic in what I keep in the car anyways.
When I hear the knock noise, I try to turn the opposite direction and turn again to replicate the noise. I have not been able to make it happen. Today, I heard a knock while sitting at a traffic like and not moving. This go me thinking that it might be a relay or some actuator in the AC system. Most of the time, I only hear it when moving.
If anyone has any ideas or experience similar, please let me know. I don't think I have enough information for a dealer to even attempt a repair.
Thanks in advance.....
