Prior to taking delivery of our special order 2020 Ford Ranger, we had our dealer install the FP/Fox Leveling Kit. I asked about warranty. Service Manager replied, "Nothing we install voids any warranty".

Toyota Dealer #1

The Toyota dealer we purchased our 2026 ORP from insisted we needed an Icon lift kit from Toytec which was more advanced than we need for our mild off-roading. They would order the kit from Toytec with a huge markup added. Then offered to install said kit for an absurd labor price without justifying it with the actual number of hours to be billed. Later I contacted our service advisor inquiring about installing the Fox Performance Series 2.0 kit together with a Peak Suspension 1" rear spacer. Crickets, that dealer never answered.

Toyota Dealer #2

I visited the website of the next-closest Toyota dealer, picked a random unknown service advisor, sent an email inquiring about installing the Fox Performance Series 2.0 kit together with a Peak Suspension 1" rear spacer. They replied the very same day quoting 5 hours for labor plus their standard alignment charge. Availability was as early as the next day. This dealer did our install as quoted by email.

It seems to partially come down to whether or not the dealer wants the job.

Warranties are still valid ? Did they buy the parts themselves or provided by you?

We provided all parts. Warranties are still valid. But I would still inquire at any dealer prior to committing. Most dealers have a staff listing section on their website. Many include email addresses and direct phone numbers. Ping a few dealers to compare quotes.

We also had previously contacted a Nissan dealer authorized to sell and install RadFlo when we were considering that kit. Their quote was good even with them buying the parts. If we had went with RadFlo, would have given them our business.

The Westcott Preload Collar Lift (at least on my Pro) kept it within factory spec not exceeding 3inches so no voiding

I had my local shop install the Peak Suspension kit with upper control arms and I paid $350 with the alignment to install the kit. The Westcott kit was cheaper, but I eventually want to install King Shocks, so I needed new UCA. This should have been a $700 install with parts. The lift will not void the power train warranty. If you star running like 37-inch tires and the transmission goes out or motor blows, they will try to get out of paying for that. I run a 285 70 17 and have taken it to the dealership for an oil change and they don't care.

I was able to find a toyota dealership that do offer lift kit install upgrade services. The quote was really reasonable compared to what a local offroad shop was saying. It was actually cheaper! They also said it will not void any factory warranties if issues arise in the future :). Just putting this here for any other owners. You just have to find a dealership that will do it
