I’ve confirmed with our various threads I do not have pre-wire behind the aux switches , plug by driver kick panel and plug by headlight. Any idea what it might cost and even if possible for the ORP? I’ll call the dealer and ask too.

If the wiring harness truly is different it really depends on what the difference is. Running wires is not difficult at all. Splicing into harnesses starts to get pricey if you have to pay someone.

In my opinion if you need to splice into the harness it is a waste. Just run the wiring yourself and buy the oem switches. Easy.

Does anyone know if the Platinum has any of the pre-wiring?

You mean it has the factory-installed switches but not the connectors? If so I would talk to the Toyota dealer, as they should have been installed.

There are no factory installed switches on the Platinum, but no idea if any of the wiring is there.

I was actually responding to the original poster (@dgorman) as said "behind the aux switches." My ORP came with them and have the connectors.

Interesting . Should mean there is an easy option. I had a business doing milspec race looms and data analytics for professional teams so building my own loom isn’t a big deal. I’d just like a factory option if it’s reasonable. I called the dealer and the are checking with their master tech.
