Hi all. New to the forum here. I’ve got a 2025 4Runner pro and wanting to do a lift/wheel combo. I’ve been researching for weeks but can’t find my wheel specs to see if 35” tires will fit. Lmk your guys thoughts pls.
wanting to add the full westcott lift (unsure about the top hats at this time, but for sure the front collars and rear pucks.
wheels are 17x8.5 +15
Want to put on 35x12.5 ride grapplers, Baja boss, or open country trail RT’s. I absolutely don’t want to cut the aluminum piece right behind the front tires. I know I’ll have to remove crash bracket but I don’t want to cut/shave

Crash brackets will need removing. I think very minimal trimming. I’m running 34s on my Pro. Have the crash brack t delete myself bc I plan to run 35s but I’m also on a 18” aftermarket 18” with a +18 offset

I have "35"s" (285/75R18 - 34.8") on TRD ORP with 1.25" Peak leveling kit and crash bracket removed. These fit without rub with the +45 TRD flat black option wheels (except rear tires contact inside of fender liner at extreme upward articulation uphill over obstacles under power - this has me considering extended travel shocks and a bump stop).
BUT this only works on my TRD ORP with close to stock offset. I had the +20 TRD PRO wheels and rear tire contact the rear fender flare and front tire rubbed the plastic air dam tab so I switched to the +45 TRD flat black option wheels to get rid of both of those issues. Now, you have a wider flare on your TRD PRO but not sure if its wide enough: 285 - 1.3" narrower than your 12.5" plus 25mm (~1") difference in offset so >1.5" more poke - which is more than the difference in fender flare size, I think (believe the PRO & TH flares are about an inch bigger than ORP).

I THINK the bottom line is that you need to either shift to a narrower tire or bigger offset wheel (+35?) (or both) or plan for a suspension change beyond the westcott collar lift (which does not change the geometry if I understand correctly).
CAVEAT: the PRO has a different scrub radius than the ORP and this difference MIGHT create enough difference in the upward angle with articulation to avoid the flare contact. But I'm not sure. (I only have my TRD ORP experience to go by).

Good luck.
