Anyone heard about a front spoiler recall notification from Toyota. See screenshot below. I came in for an oil change today and they said I had an open item regarding the front spoiler (which I removed about an hour after buying the vehicle back in July.). They had to confirm I removed the spoiler and then they will send me new hardware and close out the recall on my car. He said starting in February I was going to get annoying notifications on the screen until it’s closed out by a dealer. The tech called it a recall but I think it’s more of a service bulletin

one or more fasteners can come loose, then the spoiler can fall off or flap around

the remedy is new fasteners [or new spoiler if the first one got wrecked]
and tightening it all up

Interesting, this doesn't show up for my 2025. Mine was attached with what looked like a new revision of attachment hardware than what I've seen photos of on the ones that are falling off...

But I'm never reinstalling the air dam anyway, so it doesn't matter!

That showed up on my app but not on the info screen yet. I have a 25 that was on QC hold so I dont know why I have this. I also took mine off first thing too

during mid cycle of the production run they switched the hardware.

as noted above they put blue loctite on them to ensure the bolts wouldnt back out randomly.

my august 22 build date doesnt have a recall on the air dam since when i took it off some of bolts had blue loctite on them (i am guessing its loctite)

I had the limited service campaign appear on my app last week. It's gone now. Mine was part of the QC hold batch over the summer. Also took the air dam off.

Update: it's back on my app

The remedy is removal and disposal in garbage.

Got this "fixed" when I went in for 15k service the other day, removed the air dam on day 1 of ownership, so dealership just "inspected and signed off" on removal.

Otherwise, the fix is just swapping out some screws on those of us who kept the air dam (remove it please bro I'm begging u)
