Hi...could you, please, let me know how it goes when you install them? -I will receive my Limited in early December, and I will install a TRD Pro set of wheels (which I already bought), with 265/70R18 Michelin LTX tires.
i have the TRD Pro Factory rims/tires as a 'Winter set' , and rotate the sets (6 month on, then the next set) The TRD Pro rims/tires on my Limited give a slightly louder but softer ride. They work perfectly fine and look great - no issues here

My Pro came with predator steps and love them
Long as you dont go offroad they are fine. Offroad they wont last 10 minutes. There are pictures of how easy the steps rip off.

Edited to add, offroad with rocks that is. Maybe just dirt and mud wont rip them off but rocks peel them off.

Agreed on the Predators - I have them on my Pro and love them. Most off-roading I am doing here in NC is beach or easy dirt roads, etc. No rock crawling or crazy trails, so I just prefer the look of the Predators rather than a long, 1-piece running board. I will say, it's awkward getting in with no grab handle and the fact that the 4Runner seats are lower, like a car...so you kind of plop in. Wish they would have been smarter with this design and included a driver's side grab handle! Enjoy the Pro - it looks great in black too!

Yeah they look decent and my kids are old enough to figure them out. Not really offroading just road trips and minor trails every so often. Think predators will be fine

appreciate the feedback

I believe same as limited just a few more premium touches
This was the only one I wasnt able to find and test drive before a final decision. I think your write up is just what a lot of people need to hear to help make a decision with such limited supply available! Initially drove an ORP and it was "fine". I was trying to decide between a Land Cruiser and 4runner honestly. The LC was a TERRIBLE ride and the seat wasn't comfortable at all. I drove a limited and definitely liked the seat better than the LC but it was still just "meh" for th money.
Hi all ,

Just wanted to share my experience. Last year I bought a Limited 6gen - thinking the AVS suspension was the way to go. Long story short , I got rid of it (excuses of commute - but reality was mixed emotions with the vehicle). As of today , I took delivery of a TRD Pro , set the suspension to setting 2 , and dropped psi from the factory 39/40 to 33 and can't be happier with it

Im mostly sharing this info for those who were as me, confused on different setups and ride quality, asking AI or searching for feedback. And due to the scarcity of inventory , it's not easy for everyone to just find and test drive 3-4 different trims. The Pro just feels right as a daily. Absorbs the nasty bumps, while the smaller imperfections on the road remind you why you got this thing in the first place, them Child bearing hips- is the easiest way I can explain it. My previous vehicles have been many : Bmw's (x5, x7, i4) Porsche panamer and taycan, a Lexus TX (wife) ,Range Sport, and some cheap others : Nissan, Kia. This thing is a perfect medium ride quality wise, with the cherry on top being the capabilities , long term value (crossing fingers) and the fact that it looks super awesome

Hope this helped !

Wow, I'm surprised you didn't like the ride in the LC - I have a '24 LC and love it, but the seating position is so much different than the 4Runner Pro I recently bought. I love the interior of the Pro and it's much more premium than the LC, and I will say the LC is overpriced for what the interior is...

I was on the fence between the LC and the Pro. Although the LC supposedly offers more driver room, it didn’t feel that way. But I would say does absorb slightly better over the bumps. Went with the pro because i prefer the aesthetic of the 4runner

My wife and I literally went to the dealer to buy a LC. It was what she decided she had to have. They had one fortunately for us to drive. She drove it and I rode in passenger seat. I didn't tell her my opinion at all, we did a pretty decent test route then went all through the car. Then she said, I don't like it at all. I said me either. Went back into our saleman and ordered a 4runner Pro. He actually said that he knew we would not like it over the 4runner when we came back. The ride was honestly bad, I really disliked the low and wide screen. We even talk about it every time we see a LC that "wow I am glad we didn't get that LC".

Wow, crazy to see all the different opinions on the 4R and LC. I only test drove the SR5 (mine) and an OR, thats all that was available. The Old Lady has a 25 LC, and it rides better than both of them did and the visibility with the glass and mirrors is much better than the 4R. She had a 20 4R, and theyre both better rides.

Ironically, my 2019 F150 STX rides better than all of them

You know I have the same reaction to books as to this. Its awesome that there are so many choices and that we all can like different ones. Thats totally ok and incredibly cool. Great to have choices and different opinions.

One thing I really like in the Pro might seem silly but its the digital rear view mirror. Without it I feel like im looking at the top of the rear seats all the time and feel like i cant see well. In our Sport Premium I keep the rear seats folded down just for that reason. Wish they all had digital rear view mirrors.

the only thing bad about the digital mirror, it makes objects farther away than they actually are. there is no happy medium with the zoom factor.

you either zoom it and then make things closer to blown up or things far away out of proporation distance wise vs your side mirrors of the same vehicle behind you.

didnt notice it so much on the 23 tundra but on the 4R, the rear camera position low on the beltline vs the tundra on top of the cab makes a bid difference in viewing.

its worse now that i notice it recently and its annoying to say the least when you look thru the digital mirror then look at the same vehicle in your side mirrors.

Interesting. You might try a solution i stumbled into.
One day the sun angle was such that I could see the reflection when using the DRVM and noticed how different the zoom was from reflected image. I took the opportunity to adjust the zoom until the perspective of the two views matched (a bit under halfway zoomed IIRC)
Haven't touched it since

i tried something like that, but it makes things closer to the DRVM blow up to much. plus i tend to like to have the vehicle hand off the view from the rear to the side mirrors somewhat overlap so i can track a vehicle passing or sitting in a blind spot.

so i kinda live with it, the handoff is more important to me

I genuinely thought I was going to get an LC. Had a Meteorshower Premium with Java trim all picked out! When I finally decided to start looking seriously, I was able to drive one locally. I thought the seat must have been broken because I could feel the lumbar pillow even fully deflated. I drove to Atlanta and found another to drive - still the same. That's when someone told me the 4way lumbar adjustment was allegedly saved as a feature for the GX550 and not on the LC. The positioning of the lumbar in the LC doesn't feel good for my build :( I was so bummed. I drove a 4runner they had there and realized most of the 4runners have the 4way lumbar so that sealed the deal on switching to 4runner. I have to have an opening back window, so my pool of vehicles I was willing to look at was slim as it was.
