Hey guys,

I just picked up my new 4Runner on Wednesday and I ordered the Falken Wildpeak AT4 but unfortunately they are back ordered and could be several weeks till they arrive. The parts guy told me if I wanted the Toyo AT3 they could be here in a few days.

Just wondering if anyone has tried both? Or any comparison... Much appreciated!

I just changed from the Falken Wildpeaks that came stock with my 2025 ORP, to the Toyo AT3 --- LT265 70R18 ---. The specs have them as a bit heavier than the stock tires but I do not notice. Driving is fine but have not traveled off-road yet. I suspect that the Toyo's offered to you might be P rated and not as strong as LT tires. I wanted a stronger tire so upgraded to the Toyo LT's & so far have no regrets. You might want to see if they will supply the LT version (or just pay the difference) as the P rated tires are pretty whimpy for offroad travel, IMHO.

Ive run two sets of the Toyo's on my 5th gen 4R and have loved them. Did great in snow and rain, not much added noise and lasted over 60k. Plan to add them on my 6th gen.

at4 are more off-road geared with some on-road vs the at3 being more on-road geared with some off-road

At4ws are quite a bit heavier when you get into the Load range c and e. So check that stat out on the size you ordered and get the lighter one. I personally am running AT3 in 285/70/17 and I love them. I think in this size, the at4w is like 10-15 lbs heavier PER TIRE which is insane.

Ok good to know... I do a fair bit of light to medium off roading during bike season here in the Canadian Rockies so I think I'll stay with the AT4... It's only a couple weeks. (I just hate looking at the stock tires so much 😂)

I've got the C load range ordered. I'm thinking these might add the weight but we haveots of sharp shale rock here so AT4 might be better from the feedback I got so far.

Good on you for waiting to get what you want. You’ll love them.

I just got mine yesterday…got to actually try them today. No complaints, only increased everything I love about the truck. They look pretty sweet in person, even in a 275/70/17. Plus, the reviews are top notch. Snow performance is supposed to be great too, which I need in Michigan.

Even a stock truck can look good with just these tires.

Those look perfect! Thanks for the pic!
Yeah something about patience is a virtue or something but seriously, I think it's worth it!
