So here are these, done, but i find that the gas pack locs are short (photo red can, just placed not tightened) for 3 gal rotopax, the base height is 2 inches i think it needs to be longer, (just ordered one link below) This one is good with 2 gallon Rotopax.
Although the base that is square is messing up the gas can see the photo of green can. (correction here, happens to be i didn't know how to close and lock the mount, i learned it by messing up my canister).

For the Maxtrax the rack and mounting it on ARB 3/4 rack 2026 4Runner Trailhunter. I NEED HELP.

My rack currently has four T-slot / T-track channels installed (image attached for reference). However, I can see a fifth position on the rack where an additional slot appears it could be installed. When mounting my Maxtrax using the Narrow Bridge Plates, I am coming up short and an additional slot would solve the mounting spacing issue. (see attached image)

Could you please confirm:
Is the rack supposed to come with only four T-slots from Toyota, even though there appears to be space for five?

Not sure if you’ve seen this thread, but answers to your question about the slots here:

Thanks I didn’t see it. But I called Toyota. That’s how it is.

ARB sucks.

My molle panel is here. My custom parts are here. The ARB t-slot adapters have been sitting in status "Order Received" for 2 weeks.

I am this 👌 close to removing this $1700 rack and throwing it in the trash.

i am going to try fitting the westscott designs exterior molle panel to my TH. i used gemini / nano banana to spec out some custom L brackets and uploaded the design to sendcutsend.com. i made the L brackets in textured black .187" 50502 H32 aluminum. they should fit the standard ARB t-adapter. if it works out i'll go ahead and do the driver's side as well. look for a followup in a few weeks.

I’m thinking to design a new exterior and interior Molle panels and have it made at my cousins shop …

OK the custom adapter does work.

This is just a dry fit. I need to pick up some better/longer bolts before finalizing because my custom adapters are way over-engineered (twice as thick as the molle panel itself).

Also it's going to be a bit of an art to get my HiLift Jack holder back on in the high position - you can see the front jack holder bracket is still on the car in the low position. The order of operations will be important because the tolerances are tight.

But it looks like the inside top edge of the "fin" of the molle panel will rest square against the vertical face of the T-adapters, giving it good it rigid side support.

When the rear Jack holder bracket goes back on, that fin will prevent the holder from sagging while weighted in the high position (I don't find the dovetail system to be very secure but maybe I'm doing something wrong).

I had my brackets manufactured to a pretty tight spec at sendcutsend, but if you're capable of bending a piece of metal and drilling a hole you could probably make your own.

Now that I have the molle panel on hand I can see how I could do this differently - and maybe I will in a 2.0 version - and just manufacture my own fin with the three hole pattern to attach to the panel and an L-shaped bend to seat on the t-adapters. Then again, the whole thing will be hidden by the HighLift at least on the passenger side so it doesn't really matter.

I have the quick release awning brackets on the drivers side - though I don't drive around with the awning much. I haven't bought the driver's side panel yet, but that'll be another close tolerance thing. Not so much about getting the Molle panel on the truck - that is solved now, but more Tetrix of carrying a lot of accessories on the vehicle.

Feel free to rip off my plans. You can go thinner than I did and save a nickle. The .187" alumnium is overkill.

I am starting to feel the same. The response they gave me when I asked about mounting their own recovery boards to my rack was basically F off. They said it was designed by Toyota and they know nothing about what will work with the rack. I see why some people rip this thing off and put on a Prinsu or something. I just wanted some recovery boards and a jerry can in case I need gas on some extended trails with limited access to a gas station. Like the one I am going on Saturday but going to have to run on thoughts and prayers.
