Nope, not even close. Speedo, engine temp on left, fuel on right and can scroll through the menu button to see MPG, TPMS, and the other options on the bottom under the speedo. Cant have them all up full time on the left and right like the larger screen
The reason I think the SR5 doesnt have them is because I have one and have gone through the threads here to set it up 😂
I can scroll and see the different items (temps, guages, etc) but I cant have the full HUD on the screen and see them all at once like any of the higher trim models
Interesting. Could you post a photo of your instrument cluster. Here is a recent one of mine for comparison:

Re: "Cant have them all up full time on the left and right like the larger screen"
A. I didn't think that there was any difference in the size of the instrument cluster across any trim. Yes there is a difference between the 8" and 14" "multimedia display screen" but the area behind the steering wheel is all the same across trims - at least that is what I thought.
B. None of the trims allow "all up full time on the left and right" - you need to pick from the list in the manual: limited list for center MID section; longer lists for right and left. See at 3:33 in Steve Clifford's video "Using and customizing the instrument cluster" to see how to check ALL of the elements in the list on both sides. You can pick one item for right and one for left on each of 3 toggle settings. No one can get everything all the time.

Does your manual look different than mine in the MID section? The page numbers are likely off because of difference between hybrid (mine) and ICE only (yours, I assume) but I really thought the rest should be the same. I'm still guessing that the issue is needing to select the entire list for both left and right (per guidance in linked video) but I'm bothering to respond because if there REALLY is a difference, well I just am curious as hell to know that - and since the OP assumed its true it might be helpful to him to know for sure. (BTW - I believe that only the Platinum gets a true Head's up Display (HUD) projected on the windshield - not the TRD ORP for sure and I think not even the PRO or Trailhunter.)

Theyre completely different in the SR5 vs any other trim. What you have up on your left and right is what I was referencing for being up all the time; SR5 cant do any of that, at all. We get 1 item at a time under the speedo and you have to scroll to change or view anything else. I didnt check the manual because its a completely different unit in the different trims, but I can verify.
When I said "HUD" I meant more of all the data you have up all the time on the screen, no the actual HUD like my Old Lady has in her LC.
Heres a Google pic of the SR5 one. You can even see the screen is partitioned and not one piece like the other trims.

Wow. Learn something new every day. Thanks for the photo and the insight. Obviously I had no idea of the difference.
And now that I read the rest of the posts that somehow I missed before posting twice above, I see how wrong I was - I should have cross-checked myself more.
Thanks again for the education. I appreciate the lesson.

Need to be able to reset mileage with the push of a single button rather than navigating through 6 button presses.

Holy shit is that irritating or what?

Every vehicle for the last 50 years "here's a button to set the trip meter", easy peasy lemon squeezy.

You guys are talking about the Trip odometers, correct? Or mileage, mpgs?

probably the A/B trip meters.

i have yet to use them since i started driving back in 1983. i just note the starting odo and finishing odo reading since i had to track mpg for my dad when i used the car.

i thought as a kid, it was a complete waste of time to note that crap in his little green book that he kept in the card.

and here i am doing the same thing (using a phone app) track that same crap since my 2010 subaru legacy gt 3.6R (when i was tracking it in excel) 🤦‍♂️

Yes, I was referring to the A/B trip meters. For at least 30 years I have used A to track mileage on current tank of fuel and B to measure mileage between oil changes. Still plan on doing that in the 6th gen but having to navigate so many menus just to reset a trip meter is stupid.

Agree, although I don't use them. Mostly because I saw they were buried in the MID and I wasn't interested I'm learning the secret combination of button presses to deal with them.

Why can't they be in the Vehicle -> Trip menu in the infotainment screen next to the average speed, trip time and economy?
