6th Gen Owners: What's one thing you'd change about the Truck?

What's the one thing the 6G gets wrong (or is missing) that would make it better?
Could be spec, tech, trim availability, factory tire choice, something interior, anything.

Bonus: what does it get right that nobody talks about?

Eliminating CAFE regulations so we can have a v6 option.
Move the 4wd selector knob somewhere your thigh won't contact it accidentally.
Cut $10k off the top and reduce the amount of safety sally bs.
More headroom for people gifted with height.
Flat folding second row.
Better exterior color selection.
Better wireless charging dock.
AC vent on both sides of the dashboard. The Offroam phone mount does not place the phone in a great cooling location so it overheats...
Center the spare tire under the vehicle, it looks like an afterthought.

Maybe make a dipstick that actually shows the level and not get smeared on everytime u pull it out. How is my 25 year old bmw spot on every single time. This can’t be that hard. Same goes with the Lexus vehicles.

Plug in hybrid with 30 miles range and torque driven electric motors for first two gears. Once third gear and above (and not flooring it/giving much throttle), switch to Prius mode with regenerative braking. No reason this vehicle can’t get 30 miles/gallon but Toyota chose to dedicate 100% electric motor effort to torque. Torque is great down low. But up top need to focus efforts on increasing economy in my opinion.

Literally someone does if they brought it up. No one asked for Prius efficiency, 30 mph is no where close to that. I will say getting 30mph would be difficult but getting higher 20s could have likely been achieved.
So I’ll fix this for you.

Although I haven't taken delivery, I've gleaned enough from others:

- ability to turn off every safety/assist system if desired
- GPS navigation system with FM traffic and rerouting standard feature
- no constant nagging to use Connected Services/create an account
- rain sensing wipers
- fold flat second row
- make the information/data collecting opt in/out requirement/usage clearer, more granular, less all or nothing. It's so sprawling and messed up now, I can't even begin to suggest specific changes.
- high mount rear differential breather
- factory frame mounted bump stops
- I want the fog lights and off road light (Trailhunter) to work independently of the rest of the lights
- better storage arrangement in the cargo area

I still need to live long term with the engine and hybrid system, but the test drives were very positive. The wireless charger worked fine for me during the multiple test drive, but I wasn't testing every situation or condition.

It’s the fact that Toyota could have easily maximized efficiency for the higher gears but didn’t bother. Can you imagine 400 ft lbs down low but with 30+ mpg?

Better overall fit of parts, especially interior. So many rattles and unwanted noises for a vehicle in this price range.

Bike mode for PKSB so I don’t need to manually turn it off every time I start the truck with a bike rack on.

Fold flat rear seats would have been nice, but I knew what it was when I bought the 4Runner.

* Redesign the hybrid crossmember to sit higher under the frame.
* Redesign rear seat area too allow flat access.
* Improve connectivity for infotainment system
* Have an actual key fob that consistently starts your vehicle.
* Move Aux switches to above sunglass holder where you can see them.
* Larger fuel tank

BTW, I love this thing....

I want my full Apple Music library accessible via CarPlay when moving.
Apparently, if moving, only recently played Artists or songs seem to be available.
Once stopped, apparently I get my alphabetical artist list back to then choose my albums or songs.

Amen to more headroom. I could make more changes but this one, it is killing me every day.
