What's the use for?

You have 2 USB-C outlets from factory. You also have the 12V cigarette adapter that you can add more usb-c outlet, such as this.

Just genuinely curious on what the similar product to "Lexland" would solve.

You do not really want retractable usb cables, that mechanism is going to break. Crumbs and dirt are going to fill the gaps around it, and its taped in. You can buy so many bags of sour patch kids sour Mike and Ikes for $140.

newegg has this but lexland added more to it

https://www.newegg.com/p/0J2-07W1-00004
that looks promising, will have to research the newegg one. the lighted one on lexland i can live with out.

the retractable cords is what i really want. its so the wife can use a cord without having to shove the excess cord into the cubby hole when not in use on trips. right now i have a free hanging one for fast charging my phone but since its just me i just throw the phone in the passenger seat until i get home.

otherwise, i just use the charging pad myself since it works pretty well on trips for me. it just sit it in there and forget about it on trips outside of town. the wife can use her's to resolve anything that comes up while driving.

plus she like to bring her tablet to play games and watch video and chat.

Then where would I store my sour patch kids? Following though, that does seem interesting.
personally i dont keep anything in that area. not really easily accessible being such a small opening. its wasted space for me.

the usb hub would be better use of the space in my circumstance. i dont store anything in the open (habit from living in the big cities, invites people to snatch and run)

Nah man, too far away and harder to clean down there when the sugar/sour flakes off.

This is the ticket

So I take it you don't eat Sour Patch Kids then 😂
lol, i dont even try to eat during trips in the vehicle. also my doctor says i eat too much sugar stuff, always complaining about my high triglycerides.

dam old age

plus i cant keep a gun in the vehicle. military police tend to frown upon that when i get a random vehicle inspection.

and a big red flag since i work with big pointy things that fly out of a hole in the ground.
