since the actual logo will brake the overlay will too

How do you figure? Considering the price, it's doubtful testing to determine this were conducted. Would you prefer making the determination? I'm certain the OE logo has been engineered to perform safely. A piece of straw can be driven through a tree during a tornado, how might a rigid piece of polymer (shrapnel) react considering the force and speed as an air bag deploys? It looks cool but doubt the seller and Manufacturer thought this through. Better yet, reach out to them and pose this quandary and request their response in writing. I'm certain Toyota would cancell a warranty if they were aware someone altered any of the safety devices within a vehicle they constructed, and I'm also certain that within their written warranty this is spelled out within the Latin jargon contained within Chances most will operate their vehicle to the grave, but mishaps occur daily. Party on Garth

Was going to order as well but $10 shipping was too much for something that was already 300% markup anyway. 🤷🏻‍♂️

i am pretty sure the overlay doesnt come off during air bag deployment. the steering wheel cover has specific break/tear points that the whole thing flaps forward and down during deployment.

you can see this at 15:10 mark in this video

Seems like less of a worry about permanent Toyota tattoo if in case of accident if I add this overlay then.
might get a wrist imprint if you hold the steering wheel like you are suppose to :)

but not sure about that anymore, i think the mindset has changed from 10-2 to 8-4

on long trips i do 8-4, around town i do 9-3 with elbow on the door sill/armrest

Agree with the 8-4, curious if 10-2 is still taught.

i think the mindset chage was due to airbag deployment. being that low it would throw you hands down instead of outwards or upwards.
