This weekend added Beat Sonic front door speaker vibration deadening kits plus sound deadening in front doors. Easy and really made a difference with the Beat Sonic amp pumping out base. A bit less road noise too.

Also added Aspire Brite Box Anytine so I can use my fog lights with any headlight mode including DRL and off.

Last one is Aspire wide angle side view mirrors. Went with the blue option. Way better visibility. They have cool sequential turn signals.

Here is the OEM style switch for the fog lights with the Brite Box Anytime. The only problem I had was the instructions for wiring the switch were incorrect so I had to figure out which wire goes to which wire. After some online research I got it working. The only other issue is without an auxiliary switch box and the Brite Box wired directly to the battery, you have to be sure and turn the fog lights off. May add a switch Box next.

One last thing for anyone interested in adding the Brite Box Anytime, you do not have to remove the front bumper/grill to install the harness. I was able to reach down to the passenger side fog light. Plugging the harness into either fog light controls both lights. Just make sure if you order one with an OEM style switch you research how to wire the switch before hand.

I have a Trailhunter. I don't want the Fog/driving lights or light bar to turn on anytime. I just want the fog/driving lights to stay on with high beams when I want them to. Like an interlock defeat switch. Personally, I'm okay with the light bar only coming on with the high beams. My Trailhunter has ONE empty switch location in the left knee panel. Another one in the center console, too.

Aspire Auto makes a version that will do this. Pretty sure it's called the Brite Box Fogster. Will allow fog lights with high beams. Also think you could wire it in to your auxiliary switch.

Cool! Thanks for sharing. I didn’t know about these and have been bothered by the issue where fog lights must be used with headlights. I live in Vermont and there are PLENTY of occasions that fog lights only would be optimal.

Do you happen to know if these will work with the amber/white switching functionality of the alpharex double tap fog lights?

I spoke too soon. I checked they don't make the Fogster version for the 6th gen 4Ruunner. Only the Anytime version. Too bad because the Fogster just plugs in to the lights no switch is required. All other functionality remains the same.

do you know if you lose the BSM on those vehicle that have that equiped with these mirrors???

kit comes with a new BSM sensor. If you have heated mirrors, BSM, and turn signals they all work with the new mirrors.

The only install instructions are a QR code to YouTube videos that were helpful but not complete. They come with the BMS sensor that sticks on the new mirrors plus an extra harness that plugs into the existing harness plus the mirror turn signals. It was easy to figure out. You end up with all current functions plus the sequential signal on the new mirror surface. I am very happy with them and recommend the blue option.

when selecting options, do you have to state what you have now or will all work in say an SR5. Buy the capabilities and the existing wiring in an SR5 will support it?

Kits include both mirrors. Multiple choices of versions based on functions of your existing mirrors. My ride is an ORP trim with heated mirrors, turn signals, and blind spot monitors so that's the version I ordered. I even have aftermarket sequential signals the harness plugs right in to. Hardest parts of install are getting the covers off without breaking the clips and separating tte mirrors from the carousels they ride on (4 clips) you can access from the back. Wiring is simple all plugs/jacks are unique so you can't plug them in wrong. I used the optional harness labeled for the 4th gen Tacoma.
Taking my time it took about 30 minutes per side. YouTube gives you most of it but would be nice if Aspire had an updated video specifically for the 6th gen 4Runner including how to for all possible functions or, printed step by step instructions.
