285/70/18 tires on TRD Pro (stock, no lift) looks perfect

I think ground clearance has something to do with the control arms. I'm not sure what else it could be.

I've composed a new thread in the suspension forum - hope to get some education on what it really is - but control arms seem like a pertinent factor. Thanks

I have a 3/8” Greenlane strut spacer but I don’t believe that would have changed anything without it.

Just confirming that this is the spacer you have: 2024-landcruiser-3-4-leveling-kit. Doesn't show up on the Greenlane site when searching on 6th Gen 4Runner parts but found it by searching for 4th Gen Taco (and labeled for landcruiser). This is my kind of modest leveling (3/8" spacer) - although I'm not sure I understand how pushing the strut assembly (and wheels) down 3/8" results in lifting 3/4". Hope the suspension education I'm trying to get helps me understand.

Just FYI a TRD PRO is lifted approximately 2 inches higher that a TRD ORP. So, to get this look you would need a Peak lift or Westcott design lift to get that look.

I made a thread about this here, and according to someone with a TH (which I believe has the same heigh as the Pro) these are the measurements from top of tire to fender flare(flares are different so this isn't apples to apples):

Trailhunter stock:
4.75" Front and 5.5" rear

My ORP with a 1.25" peak front lift:
4.4" front and 5.5" rear

Just got my muddbath last week after waiting almost 4 months. Just had its first wash, have KO3 285/70/18 waiting in the garage to install.

Looking to replace the roof rack but that’s about it. I’ll post some photos after the tires go on.

I’m running 275/70R18 Maxxis Razr ATs with the same size spare no issues at all. Even off-road I didn’t have any rubbing at all. I believe you could fit a 285/70R18 spare underneath and if it’s too tight just take some air out. Better to have a “soft” spare than no spare or a mismatched size

What roof rack do you have? I’d like to replace mine with something similar, but would like a rack that would accommodate a forward facing low profile light bar for the future.

285/70/18 KO3 installed no issues on full lockout, however haven’t had off-road yet. I did have to remove the front mudflaps, which I didn’t really like anyway. I did leave the rear ones.

Now looking for a nice full roof rack with forward facing low profile light bar integration and maybe some options for rear lights for camping.

Overall very happy thus far. I’ll monitor the mpg and report back if there is interest.
